About the Photography Competition

The Agnes Water Amateur Photography Competition is now open. This year’s theme is ‘the natural wonders of the Discovery Coast’ and highlights the sights in our own backyard from Agnes Water and the surrounding area*. Amateur photographers from across the Gladstone Region are encouraged enter either the ‘Under 18’s’ or ‘18+’ category for a chance to win a $100 gift voucher.

‘Like’ your favourite images when voting opens on Monday, 16 November or vote instore at the Agnes Water RTC. The most popular entry in each category will be declared the winner on Wednesday, 9 December.


*The Discovery Coast region includes: Agnes Water, Baffle Creek, Berajondo, Bororen, Captain Creek, Colosseum, Deepwater, Euleilah, Eurimbula, Foreshores, Lowmead, Miriam Vale, Mount Maria, Mount Tom, Oyster Creek, Rodds Bay, Rosedale, Round Hill, Rules Beach, Seventeen Seventy, Taunton and Turkey Beach.
