Come along to this free community event for Young People aged 15- 25 years to learn the skills to design and deliver Community led programs and initiatives that are important and meaningful.

This is a professional and personal development opportunity delivered by world leaders in Asset Based Community Development, the Jeder Institute where young people can learn how to create the environment they want to see!!

A series of workshops known as Checkpoints will follow throughout the year leading up to the Gladstone Region's first ever Youth Summit to be held in September 2022.

The Youth Summit Planning Workshop is designed for young people aged 15 to 25 to encourage them to be fearless and bold, stand up, discover their voice and follow their passion. Together with the Jeder Institute we discover and practice purposeful leadership through a participatory learning experience.

This workshop is the first of a series and will co-design Council’s first Youth Summit to be held in September.

Change-makers aged 15 to 25 who are ready to be heard.

This is different to any other event – this is for youth, led by youth, delivered by youth.

This event is aimed at having all types of young people represented across the Gladstone Region.
