What is the Community Led Investment Fund?

It is a pilot where you decide who is awarded funding.

How much money is available?

$25,000 – (5 projects of $5,000)

Through the Community Led Investment Fund, applicants can request funding up to $5,000 for their ‘Our Place Our Wellbeing’ project to strengthen their community to deliver initiatives, programs or projects that meet the Community Development Strategy Wellbeing Objective.

The Wellbeing Objective aims to foster healthy, safe, and supported communities through the delivery of community led partnerships, programs, activities, and resources that promote healthy lifestyles, positive wellbeing and safe communities.

The ‘Our Place Our Wellbeing’ project is a participatory budgeting program that offers a total of $25,000 in smaller grants of up to $5,000 for community ideas, projects or events that bring people together and build better neighbourhoods and community health.

If you have ever had a great idea to make your community more vibrant, safe and connected, ‘Our Place Our Wellbeing’ can help make it happen by providing funding, support and connecting you with likeminded individuals. One application per group (if you have more ideas get more groups to auspice them).

This is an innovative pilot initiative which will see the community decide not only the project ideas, but also where the funding is awarded through an interactive voting system.
