National Volunteer Week 2024 #SomethingForEveryone

Each year the Gladstone Region recognises and celebrates the amazing work and contributions that volunteers make to the community. This year Gladstone Regional Council is hosting a series of breakfast events across the region to thanks our community champions.

Do you know of a local volunteer who should be recognised for contributing to the Gladstone Region community?

Now is the time to nominate an individual or group of individuals who you believe are worthy of recognition.

National Volunteer Week is an annual celebration that provides an opportunity to highlight the important role of volunteers in our community and invites people not currently volunteering to give it a go!

Before National Volunteer Week rolls around, Gladstone Regional Council is calling upon the community to nominate someone they would like to see recognised for their commitment to our community.

You can even nominate yourself!

Nominations open Monday 4 March and close Tuesday 2 April.

All nominees will receive a certificate and an invitation to attend a National Volunteer Week, Breakfast of Champions, recognition event to be held at various locations across the region.

Nominations can be submitted online via the form below.

If you require assistance completing the nomination form, please contact the Philip Street Communities and Families Precinct on 4976 6300.
