Council has been on a journey to develop Our Coast Our Future, a long-term strategy to help manage and adapt to the coastal hazard impacts on our coastline and communities. Coastal hazards include erosion of our beaches, and short or long-term seawater inundation of low-lying areas along the coastline.
The Our Coast Our Future strategy has been developed over the past six months and is now completed.
Gladstone Regional Council would like to acknowledge the Bailai, the Gurang, the Gooreng Gooreng and the Taribelang Bunda people who are the traditional custodians of this land. Gladstone Regional Council would also like to pay respect to Elders both past, present and emerging, and extend that respect to other Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
