Is the Secretary of BirdLife Capricornia and in that role takes part in bird research and organising field trips for the group. He has written several books on local birds, butterflies, dragonflies and wildlife as well as being the science writer for the book ‘The Art and Science of Shorebirds’. He is passionate about the conservation of birds and their habitats and has given many talks to schools, community groups and the general public about protecting them

Is one of the artists involved in the book ‘The Art and Science of Shorebirds’. Margaret is also a keen member of Birdlife Capricornia.
