What is the project?

Council is developing an Amendment Roadmap which outlines multiple projects which will take place over the next three years to update the Gladstone Region Planning Scheme.

The Roadmap strategically plans work on future amendments which reflects recommendations made in our Ten Year Planning Scheme Review (completed in 2024) alongside community and Council priorities.

The Planning Scheme Amendment Roadmap 2026-29 is the first in an ongoing series of programs which moves Council to a position of continual review to ensure our Planning Scheme is fit-for-purpose.

Public submissions are now OPEN and we invite the community to share their feedback on the draft Amendment Roadmap.
